The fitness studio will debut late January 2018 in suite A09 of the under-construction Grant Park development.

“Vibe Ride is a perfect amenity to add to the Larkin family,” Merritt Lancaster, principal at Paces Properties, Larkin’s developer, told What Now Atlanta (WNA) Wednesday in a prepared statement.

“Having a high-quality fitness operator adds another dimension to the full service line-up of the development. We’re certain that this will be a benefit to the Grant Park community.”

The 2,600-square-foot space will be left mostly open with a separate room for cycling classes as well as bathrooms and showers.

Other occupants of the development expected to open soon include Ace Hardware, Grant Park Market and Squash Blossom.

The new Vibe Ride location is owned and operated by wife and husband team Shawn and Albert Ware, franchisees of the original studio in Midtown.

The Wares will act as instructors as well as oversee the day-to-day at the new studio. In addition to cycling and barre fitness classes, the new studio will offer TRX “suspension training” classes.

Shawn Ware is a fitness industry veteran and breast cancer survivor who told What Now Atlanta that she is achieving her goal of “opening [her] own fitness studio before turning 50.”

The Wares regularly attended classes at Vibe Ride before striking a business partnership with Courtney Anderson, the fitness company’s CEO, they said.
