What do you teach?
I’m excited to be teaching Remix Rides! They are the perfect combination of rhythm riding with intermittent intervals and drills that prepare any cyclist for the road or trail.
Where are you from?
I’m a Floridian who was born and lived much of my life in Miami. Most of my family moved to North Florida after hurricane Andrew, so we now call Jacksonville home.
What is your favorite song?
“Ever Long” by the Foo Fighters still makes me stop, drop, and listen. However, “Stronger” by Kanye West motivates me like no other song.
What hobbies do you have outside of indoor cycling?
I am an aspiring CrossFit athlete and also an avid competitive road and cyclocross cyclists, averaging 100-200 miles per week.
What is something about you that many people would find surprising?
I’m a classically trained musician (Bachelor Degree in Music, piano and oboe) and am 25 pounds lighter with an added 15 pounds of muscle mass thanks to cycling and lifting.
What motivated you to get into fitness/teaching?
Cycling and it’s community completely transformed my life and was the impetus of my fitness journey. I want to share my passion with others and help them reach their goals, on and off of the bike.
